The 1990 Operator of the Year is Robert (Bob) C. Rothwell

Bob began his career with Seattle Transit in May, 1967. During his 22 1/2 years of service, Bob has developed an impressive work record including 14 commendations, 18 years of safe driving and an outstanding attendance record.

Bob is married and has four children. He stays active by serving on his base's DSTP Employee Advisory Committee, volunteering his time working with inmates at the Monroe Reformatory and restoring antique vehicles. He currently owns a 1965 Mustang and a 1959 Chevrolet pick-up. Bob's other hobbies include playing the guitar and singing gospel music.
