The 1985 Operator of the Year is Clarence J. Berg

C. J. Berg began his career at Metro on July 27, 1949. During his tenure he has earned a 26-year safe driving award as well as many commendations from his passengers. Many of Bergy's commendations cite his special concern for disabled and elderly passengers. His courteous and helpful manner ensures the comfort and safety of all of his passengers and distinguishes Bergy as an outstanding public servant.

When not working as a Metro operator, Bergy is in pursuit of his many outside interests which include playing the piano, singing in a barber shop quartet, golfing and traveling with his wife.
