Become a Partner in Transit

Partners in Transit-King County Metro Transit logo

  • Are you a business or an organization that promotes the value of transit and alternative transportation modes in the way you do business?
  • Do you have a way to share that value with members, customers and the general public?
  • Do you want to help your members or customers find out how they can individually make a difference?
  • If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then you might contact us to see if being a Partner in Transit works for you.

Partner Qualifications:

  • Ability to directly communicate with members or customers such as newsletters, mailings, invoice inserts, etc.
  • Commitment to transit such as FlexPass, CTR Program support, BEST Workplaces for commuters, etc.
  • Partner must be willing to contribute resources to support their program such as in-kind, monetary, postage, etc.

Metro will work with our partner to craft a customized program that may include:

  • Newsletter stories about individuals that have made a change in their travel behavior.
  • Encourage individuals to make a commitment to drive less.
  • Process for providing travel information to members who request it.
  • Prompts and behavior norming activities that help reinforce the new choice.
  • Incentives and rewards for participants
  • Evaluation of the project
