this shadow splattered tunnel of trees
green trills along the ditches: musk mallow cat's ear
lacy pinks of filaree lush, sweet air
the nearly oppressive weight of flowering
and the longing in it to do and to be-
white flower from the heart of chickweed
perfection serration of nettle leaf
profusion of the humble, recurring weeds
