Picnic on a Grave
Riding the bus so I can
look at life closely instead of
trying to stay alive while I drive,
I turn my head just in time
to see a woman fling her body on a grave,
while a dog holds a Frisbee
loosely in his mouth, wondering why
the game is over so suddenly.
