Across the aisle

Across the aisle the boy playing
with button, popped it from his coat
and looked at me open-mouthed
in smile, cupping his disk
like a blue jewel glistening

He dropped this gift into my hand as I passed
a finger to his lips and
                                    "shhhhhh"
