Thanksgiving Transit & Customer Services Thursday, November 26, 2009
Information available
Transit and other commuter services
Thursday, November 26:
- Metro Transit operates a Sunday schedule. If a route does not normally run on Sunday, there is no service on Thanksgiving Day.
- Boeing Custom Bus Route 952 is cancelled.
- School Custom Bus Routes and designated school trips on other routes are cancelled.
- The Access Transportation call center will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Access operates a Sunday schedule and service areas (expanded Transit Now service areas are not served). Except for dialysis and life-sustaining medical trips, all subscription service is cancelled. If you still need your subscription ride for Labor Day, contact the call center at 206-205-5000 (TTY users call 206-749-4286 or 711) by 5:00 p.m. November 25.
- Ridesharing is another travel option to consider. www.RideshareOnline.com is a free online self-serve ridematching service that -- in a matter of minutes, day or night -- helps you find others who want to carpool or vanpool and have a similar commute
