Special bus service for Seahawks games
The Seattle Seahawks have contracted with King County Metro Transit to offer special bus shuttles for home football games this season. The first game-day for the Seahawks is Sunday, Sept. 12.
The Seahawks are covering the operating cost for these special shuttles, which operate from park-and-ride lots for weekend games.
Metro special service fare is $5 each way. Please have the exact cash fare ready; drivers do not carry change. No passes, ORCA cards, or transfers are accepted. Children age 2 and under ride free with a fare-paying adult.
There are also many regular bus routes that travel to or near Qwest Field.

A lawsuit in federal courts could affect whether Metro can provide special shuttle service for the entire football season. The hearing on that challenge is expected to resume in late September.
If Metro is unable to complete the season, the team will make a decision about ongoing transportation services to the games.
