These Sound Transit routes, operated by Metro Transit, will operate a weekday schedule on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov 11, and Martin Luther King Jr Day, Monday, Jan 18, 2010. Sunday schedules are in effect on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov 26; Christmas Day, Friday, Dec 25; and New Year's Day, Friday, Jan 1, 2010. Link light rail operates the same holiday schedule as these ST express routes. Sounder commuter rail service operates a weekday schedule on Veterans Day and Martin Luther King Jr Day. Sounder does not operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day.

During construction at the Kirkland TC, eastbound Route 540 trips to Kirkland will end eastbound on Central Way just east of 3rd St. Westbound Route 540 trips to the U-District will begin at the bus stop southbound on 6th St just south of 4th Ave.

On weekdays, two new westbound Route 550 trips to downtown Seattle will leave the Bellevue Transit Center at 6:35 and 7:05 pm. Service frequency on westbound Route 550 trips to downtown Seattle will improve to every 15 minutes on Saturday from about 9:20 am to 7:20 pm. Eastbound Route 550 trips to Bellevue will also improve to every 15 minutes on Saturday from about 8:39 am to 6:39 pm. These improvements are a result of voter-approved passage of Sound Transit 2 in November 2008.

On weekdays, Route 554 trips that begin or end at the S Sammamish P&R will operate via 228th Ave SE/NE to and from NE Redmond Way & 185th Ave NE in Redmond. Route 554 will serve the bus stops at NE Inglewood Hill Rd, NE 8th St, NE 25th Way and NE Redmond Way & 185th Ave NE. Route 554 will also operate identical schedules on Saturday and Sunday, with four trips added on Saturday and 12 trips on Sunday. These improvements are a result of voter-approved passage of Sound Transit 2 in November 2008.
