Metro Transit Special Rider Alert, September 2004
More Bus Service for Southwest King County

Changes are coming for riders along the Ambaum-Delridge corridor through Southwest Seattle to downtown Seattle. King County Metro Transit is revising its network of bus routes for Delridge, White Center, Burien and neighboring areas in order to speed service to and from downtown Seattle.

The most significant improvements will occur on new Route 120, providing frequent service from 5 am to 2:15 am daily between Burien and downtown Seattle. Our new easy-to-board “low-floor” and air-conditioned buses will operate on Route 120.

Some bus stops will have new bus shelters, benches, better lighting, and crosswalks. Metro’s new Route 125 and Route 11 will provide frequent service between South Seattle Community College and Seattle Central Community College. Both routes 120 and 125 connect with Route 128 for service to and from Southcenter.

Many other new routes have been added, and some routes have been replaced or discontinued. New routes and other bus routes have replaced routes 20, 124, 130 Local & Express, 135, 136 Local & Express, and 137 Local & Express. See the guide below for a summary of changes to your route.
