Fremont Bridge Construction and Changes - Route 28
Route 28 will follow its regular route, except for the segment between N.W. 39th St. & Leary Way N.W. and Dexter Ave. N. & Crockett St. Route 28 Express will not change.
There will be no Route 28 service on:
- Dexter Ave. N. north of Crockett St.
- the Fremont Bridge
- Fremont Ave. N.
- Fremont Place N.
- N. 36th St. and N.W. 36th St
Instead, Route 28 will travel on:
- Aurora Ave. N.
- Fremont Way N.
- N. 39th St. and N.W. 39th St.
and will make all posted stops along this routing.
Riders wishing to board Route 28 night/Sunday shuttle to Broadview will transfer from Route 26 on the south side of Bridge Way N. at Albion Pl. N., instead of in downtown Fremont. Riders traveling toward downtown Seattle will exit Route 28 on Fremont Way N. just north of N. 38th St. and walk one block south to the on-ramp of southbound Aurora Ave. N. to transfer to Route 26.
