Metro Transit Special Rider Alert, June 2004

Bus Service Improvements Start Saturday, June 5, 2004

This Special Rider Alert provides a summary of our June through late September bus service changes. Our biggest announcement is the opening of the new Eastgate Park & Ride garage located at 14200 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue. The new five-story parking garage includes 1,700 parking spaces for bus riders, vanpoolers, and carpoolers along I-90. We would like to thank our Eastgate Park & Ride patrons for your patience during the construction, and hope you enjoy your new facility and amenities it provides. The Interim P&R lot just west of the main lot will close on June 5.

If you have any questions about the changes in transit service or need help planning your trip, please call Rider Information at 206-553-3000 (TTY users 206-684-1739), or use our online Trip Planner.

No smoking and no littering bus shelter warnings

No smoking and no littering decal

A new decal will be applied to Metro bus shelters in an effort to help curb smoking and littering at our bus shelters. While we cannot prohibit smoking, we are asking people to not smoke in the shelters out of courtesy for others. Littering, however, is against the law.
