Metro Schedule and Route Revisions, May 2008

Below is a numerical listing of affected routes throughout Metro's service area. Revisions take effect on Saturday, May 31. Pick up a new green timetable for complete route and schedule information.

All afternoon Route 5 express trips will leave from 2nd Ave S & S King St and operate via 3rd Ave with stops at James, Madison, Union, Pine and Virginia streets.

30/74

Local service on Route 74 will be renumbered as new Route 30. There will be no change in service levels, and routing will stay the same to and from Sand Point, Ravenna, the University District, Wallingford, Fremont and the Seattle Center. Routes 30 and 74 Express will continue to provide a combined 15-minute service during the morning and afternoon peak periods, both directions, between Sand Point and the U-District.

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, northbound Route 200 to north Issaquah will serve Bay 5. Southbound Route 200 to downtown Issaquah will serve Bay 1. Refer to the map of the

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, westbound Route 210 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 2. Refer to the map of the Issaquah Transit Center for more information.

One new afternoon Route 212 peak trip will leave the Eastgate P&R at 4:30 pm and arrive in downtown Seattle at 5 pm. This trip will provide a connection with Sounder service leaving King Street Station at 5:15 pm.

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, westbound Route 214 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 2. Eastbound Route 214 to downtown Issaquah or North Bend will serve Bay 4. Refer to the map of the Issaquah Transit Center for more information.

One new northbound Route 221 weekday trip will leave the Eastgate P&R at 10:11 pm.

Route 230 will operate via NE 10th St, 106th Ave NE and NE 4th St in downtown Bellevue. Route 230 will no longer serve Bellevue Way NE between NE 10th St and NE 4th St.

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, northbound Route 269 to Overlake will serve Bay 5. Refer to the map of the Issaquah Transit Center for more information.

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, westbound Route 271 to the University District will serve Bay 3. Eastbound Route 271 to downtown Issaquah will serve Bay 1. Refer to the map of the Issaquah Transit Center for more information. Also, one new afternoon Route 271 peak trip to the U-District will leave the Eastgate P&R at 5:21 pm.

Due to a routing change, Route 358 to Aurora Village Transit Center will no longer serve the bus stop eastbound on S Main St just west of 2nd Ave Extension S. It will now serve the bus stop westbound on S Jackson St just west of 5th Ave S. The last inbound stop for Route 358 in downtown Seattle will be eastbound on S Washington St just west of 4th Ave S.

914/916

Routes 914 and 916 will operate southbound on 1st Ave N between W James St and W Temperance St in downtown Kent. Routes 914 and 916 will no longer serve Bay 5 at the Kent Transit Center.

At the new Issaquah Transit Center, northbound Route 927 to Sammamish will serve Bay 5. Southbound Route 927 to downtown Issaquah will serve Bay 1. Refer to the map of the Issaquah Transit Center for more information.
