Metro Schedule and Route Revisions, February 2009

Below is a numerical listing of affected routes throughout Metro's service area. Pick up a new green timetable for complete route and schedule information.

Service Revisions Effective Saturday, Feb. 7

10/12

Service frequency on Route 10 to downtown Seattle will increase to every 10 minutes with the addition of a new southbound trip leaving Capitol Hill at 9:24 am.

The southbound Route 13 trip from Seattle Pacific University to downtown Seattle at 5:57 pm will leave at 6:02 pm.

21X

Route 21 express to Arbor Heights will no longer serve the bus stop westbound on Lenora St just east of 4th Ave. Board Route 21 express west and south of this location, southbound on 1st Ave just south of Lenora St.

Evening service frequency on Route 36 to S Othello St will increase to every 10 minutes from 6:20 - 6:50 pm with the addition of a new trip leaving 3rd Ave & Union St at 6:40 pm. Please check the new green timetable for other schedule adjustments.

The southbound Route 49 trip to downtown Seattle leaving the University District at 6:18 pm will be deleted. Please check the new green timetable for other schedule adjustments.

Route 157 to downtown Seattle has a new trip leaving the Lake Meridian P&R at 5:17 am. This improvement is funded by Transit Now.

Route 174 to Federal Way will no longer serve the Federal Way/S 320th St P&R after 11 pm. After 11 pm, Route 174 trips will begin and end at the Federal Way Transit Center.

177

At the Federal Way/S 320th St P&R, northbound Route 177 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 1 instead of Bay 2. Southbound Route 177 will continue to serve Bay 2.

200, 209, 214, 271

Routes 200, 209, 214 and 271 will now enter the Issaquah Transit Center via NW Maple St and 17th Ave NW. These routes will no longer serve the bus stop southbound on 12th Ave NW just north of Newport Way NW.

At the Overlake Transit Center, northbound Route 221 to Redmond will serve Bay 3 instead of Bay 4. Southbound Route 221 to the Eastgate P&R will serve Bay 6 instead of Bay 3.

At the Bellevue Transit Center, southbound Route 222 to the Eastgate P&R will have two new Saturday morning trips leaving Bay 1 at 8:50 am and 9:50 am.

At the Overlake Transit Center, westbound Route 225 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 4 instead of Bay 3.

At the Overlake Transit Center, westbound Route 229 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 4 instead of Bay 3.

At the Overlake Transit Center, northbound Route 244 to Kenmore will serve Bay 6 instead of Bay 2.

At the Overlake Transit Center, southbound Route 247 to Kent Boeing will serve Bay 6 instead of Bay 4.

At the Overlake Transit Center, southbound Route 249 to Bellevue will serve Bay 3 instead of Bay 4.

Westbound Route 255 to downtown Seattle will have a new weekday trip leaving the Brickyard P&R at 4:30 am.

At the Overlake Transit Center, westbound Route 256 to downtown Seattle will serve Bay 4 instead of Bay 3.

Route 268 will no longer operate on 185th Ave NE between NE Redmond Way and NE 65th St in Redmond. Instead, it will operate both directions on 188th Ave NE and NE 65th St.

316

Route 316 to Meridian Park will operate southbound on Eastlake Ave E and westbound on Stewart St. It will no longer serve the bus stop southbound on 3rd Ave just north of Virginia St. Customers can board Route 316 south of this location, westbound on Stewart St just east of 5th Ave or southbound on 3rd Ave just north of Pike St.

347

Beginning Monday, Feb. 23, Route 347 will resume service to the Mountlake Terrace Transit Center. At that time, it will no longer serve the area north of 236th St SW on 56th Ave SW.

918

Route 918 will no longer operate DART service in the Center Point office park area east of Kent Boeing. Route 918 will provide new DART service in downtown Kent bordered by W Smith St, 1st Ave N, W Titus St and 5th Ave S.

497
NEW

Route 497 is a new weekday peak-period route providing service between Lakeland Hills and Auburn Station via Lakeland Hills Way and A St SE. Route 497 will operate seven morning trips to Auburn Station and seven afternoon trips to Lakeland Hills. Route 497 will connect with Sounder and Metro Transit service at Auburn Station. Route 497 will be operated by Pierce Transit on behalf of Sound Transit.
