Mercer Island P&R Temporary Closure
On Monday, February 13, the Mercer Island P&R lot will close for approximately one year for the construction of a new multi-level parking garage. However, bus stops on N. Mercer Way adjacent to the lot will remain open during construction. Several parking alternatives will be available for customers, both on and off the island.
Metro and Sound Transit will be providing shuttle service via routes 202 and 205 to three nearby parking locations to help you park as close as possible to connect with your bus. Routes 202 and 205 will operate every 10-15 minutes during peak commute hours allowing for frequent connections at the Mercer Island Park-&-Ride bus stops. This increased frequency offers better local bus service for customers wishing to leave their cars at home. Pick up a new GREEN timetable for bus schedule and routing details.
P&R locations with routes 202 and 205 shuttle service will be available at the following locations (also served midday by Route 204):
