Below is a numerical listing of affected routes throughout Metro’s service area. Visit Metro Online or pick up a new green timetable for complete route and schedule information.
Metro is making some scheduling changes to reduce costs, preserve bus service and operate more efficiently. You may notice differences in the arrival and departure times of your route.
The RapidRide B Line will have improved connections with ST Route 550 to downtown Seattle and ST Route 560 to West Seattle at the Bellevue TC.

Route 25 will be revised to operate in both directions via the UW campus (see map below). It will no longer operate on NE 45th St between Montlake Blvd NE and 15th Ave NE, or on 15th Ave NE between NE 45th St and NE 40th St.
Also, service frequency will be reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes during the morning and afternoon peak periods.
On Sunday, combined service frequency in both directions between Cowen Park and downtown Seattle will increase to every 10 minutes.

Route 99 will operate a later evening schedule during the summer service change (June-September).
Beginning Sept. 29, Route 99 will only operate during the morning and afternoon peak periods (6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Midday, evening and weekend service will be discontinued during the fall and spring service changes (September-June).
The southbound trips to Dockton leaving the Vashon ferry terminal at 7:00 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. and the northbound trip to the Vashon ferry terminal leaving Dockton at 7:36 p.m. will be deleted.
Evening service leaving the Burien TC after 8:19 pm weekdays, 8:06 pm Saturday and 8:07 pm Sunday will be deleted.
Seven morning Route 177 trips to downtown Seattle leaving the Federal Way/S 320th St P&R at 5:32, 6:08, 6:23, 6:43, 7:03, 7:35 and 8:06 am, and six afternoon trips leaving 2nd Ave & Pike St at 3:34, 4:13, 4:42, 5:09 (5:11 pm starting June 11), 5:41 and 6:13 pm will be converted to new Route 178 service.
Also, two new southbound trips to the Federal Way/S 320th St P&R leaving 2nd Ave & Pike St at 4:23 and 5:02 pm will be added.
Service after 7:15 pm will be added seven days a week between the Kent Station and Burien TC. Route 180 will operate every 30 minutes until approximately 10 pm and every 30 to 60 minutes between 10 pm and the end of service.

Also, several Route 218 trips will be added to the morning and afternoon peak periods and schedule coordination will be improved.
On weekdays, one morning peak-period trip to downtown Seattle and one afternoon peak-period trip to the Brickyard P&R will be added to improve service frequency between the Kirkland TC and Seattle to every 8 minutes between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 am, and 4:45 p.m. and 5:17 pm. Two eastbound and two westbound off-peak trips will be deleted.
In preparation for the elimination of the Ride Free Area this fall, inbound trips to downtown Seattle will stop at Bay C instead of Bay D between Westlake and International District Tunnel Stations.
Route 348 will be revised to operate in both directions on NW 196th St between 20th Ave NW and 24th Ave NW in Richmond Beach. It will no longer operate on 20th Ave NW, 21st Pl NW, 23rd Pl NW or 24th Ave NW.
At the Redmond TC, southbound trips arriving from Bothell will stop at Bay 1 instead of Bay 5. Northbound trips to Bothell will continue to board passengers at Bay 5.
Service between approximately 9 am and 3 pm and after 6:15 pm will be deleted. Route 234 provides nearby alternative service on Juanita Drive NE between NE 155th St and NE 181st St, and along 84th Ave NE between NE 132nd St and NE 141st St. Route 255 will provide service on NE 124th St between 98th Ave NE and the Totem Lake TC.
New Route 178 will provide peak-period express service between the South Federal Way P&R and the Federal Way Transit Center and downtown Seattle, replacing discontinued Route 196. It will operate via the Federal Way/S 320th St P&R and will operate in conjunction with Route 177 between S 320th St and downtown Seattle, following the same routing.
The southbound trip leaving 2nd Ave & Pike St at 6:13 pm will be the only trip to serve the Star Lake P&R. Route 178 will not serve the bus stop on the northbound on-ramp to I-5 just north of S 272nd St.

Link light rail provides alternative service between Mount Baker Station and Beacon Hill Station.
Alternative service is provided on Lake City Way NE by Metro routes 306 and 312, and ST Route 522; on Ravenna Ave NE and NE 80th St by Route 72; on 15th Ave NE by routes 72 and 73; on NE 65th St by routes 64 and 76 and on Roosevelt Way NE and 11th Ave NE by routes 66 and 355.
Route 128 provides alternative service along portions of S 144th St and Tukwila International Blvd. Route 132 will provide service along Des Moines Memorial Dr S.
Routes 158, 159 and Sounder commuter rail provide alternative service between Kent and downtown Seattle.
Route 901 provides alternative service between north Federal Way and the Federal Way TC where connections can be made with Metro routes 177, 178 and 179 and ST routes 577 and 578 to downtown Seattle. Also, the RapidRide A Line serves Pacific Highway South between S 312th St and Sea-Tac Airport. Connections can be made at the Redondo Heights P&R with Route 190 and at the Sea-Tac/Airport Link Station with Link light rail for service to downtown Seattle. Link also serves Rainier Valley, Martin Luther King Jr Way S and Beacon Hill.
New Route 178 provides alternative weekday peak commuter service between the South Federal Way P&R and the Federal Way TC and downtown Seattle.
Routes 114 and 240 provide alternative service on portions of 119th Ave SE in Newport Hills.
Route 168 provides alternative service on SE 272nd St (Kent-Kangley Rd) between 168th Pl SE and 216th Ave SE. DART Route 907 also provides alternative service on Black Diamond–Enumclaw Rd (SR-169) between Black Diamond and Enumclaw.
Routes 114 and 240 provide alternative service in Newcastle and Newport Hills.
