Revised Metro service for September 2000

Metro is restructuring several routes that provide service similar to the new Sound Transit routes. The changes will reduce duplication of service, improve efficiency and help the region move toward an integrated transit system.

Replacement service will be provided by current and new Sound Transit routes, new Metro routes 140, 277, 341 and 342, and revised Metro Route 291. Fares on Sound Transit's routes will be higher than Metro fares for many current riders.
