Transit service in flooded areas
In the event of flooding in any part of King County, Metro Transit service may be disrupted in affected areas.
Should flooding occur in the Green River Valley - or anywhere in Metro's service area - check for announcements on the King County and Metro Online home pages.

Metro Planned Flood Routes
Metro has designed the following reroutes in preparation for potential Green River flooding:
The Green River Flood Plan
While it is not possible to predict some disruptions, the Green River Flood Plan provides for the continued operation of Metro buses along pre-planned reroutes near the areas that would likely be affected by flooding from the Howard Hansen Dam.
