In the event of flooding in any part of King County, Metro Transit service may be disrupted in affected areas.

Metro Planned Flood Routes

Metro has designed the following reroutes in preparation for potential Green River flooding:

The Green River Flood Plan

While it is not possible to predict some disruptions, the Green River Flood Plan provides for the continued operation of Metro buses along pre-planned reroutes near the areas that would likely be affected by flooding from the Howard Hansen Dam.

 

The King County Department of Transportation is providing this information as a service to the general public.
