Transit and other commuter services

Thursday, January 1, 2009:

• Metro Transit operates on Sunday schedules. If a route does not normally run on Sunday, there will be no service.
• Metro Route 99 (waterfront bus) does not operate.
• The downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel is closed.
• Boeing Custom Bus Route 952 is cancelled.
• School Custom Bus Routes and designated school trips on other routes are cancelled.
• The Access Transportation call center will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Access will operate a Sunday schedule and service areas (the expanded Transit Now service areas will not be in effect). Except for dialysis and life-sustaining medical trips, all subscription service is cancelled. If you still need your subscription ride for Thanksgiving Day, contact the call center at 206-205-5000 (TTY users call 206-749-4286 or 711) by 5:00 p.m. December 31st.

• Holiday/Sunday fares are in effect on Metro routes.
• The regional Day Pass, is available from Metro drivers.
• Family Fares apply. Youths who ride without adults pay the 75¢ one way fare.
• Regular fares are in effect on Access Transportation

Thursday, January 1, 2009:

• Customer Information Office. Use the online Trip Planner.
• Lost-and-Found Office (including Live Help Chat) in the King Street Center, Seattle
• Metro’s Pass Sales Offices in the King Street Center and on the Mezzanine Level of the Westlake Station in the Tunnel, Seattle.
• Metro's Accessible Services Office in the Exchange Building is closed
• Metro's Administrative offices in the King Street Center are closed.
