Have you seen Metro's 'idol'?

Do you recognize this man? If you are a fan of the hit TV show "American Idol," you might have seen him auditioning to be the next singing sensation.

Transit operator Antonio "Tony" Bridges, who works out of East Base, took some time off during February to compete on the Fox Network's wildly popular show. After his wife gave him a roundtrip ticket to the Las Vegas auditions, Bridges took on 97,000 competitors and made it to the final 40 before being cut.

The whole experience, he said once he was safely back in Seattle, was "surreal."
