Kirkland Transit Center temporary closure

Beginning Saturday, September 19, the Kirkland Transit Center will close for about one year for construction on 3rd Street between Central Way and Kirkland Avenue in downtown Kirkland. Improvements at the Kirkland Transit Center will include longer bus bays, wider sidewalks and improved passenger shelters. Interim improvements will be made to two pairs of bus stops eastbound and westbound on Central Way near 3rd Street, and northbound and southbound on 6th Street near 4th Avenue.
