- Route 212 trips without the "F" symbol make no stops between I-90 & 142nd Pl SE and International District Station EXCEPT on I-90 at Rainier Ave S. Route 217 makes no stops between I-90 & Richards Rd and International District Station (to Seattle) and from International District Station to SE 36 St & Factoria Blvd (to Eastgate) EXCEPT on I-90 at Rainier Ave S. Route 212 trips serving SE 36th St (symbol F) will also stop at I-90 and Richards Rd.

Downtown Seattle Tunnel Operation Information
Routes 212 and 217operate in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. The 1.3-mile, five-station tunnel (see downtown map of tunnel) is open for service Monday thru Saturday from 5 am to 1 am, and Sunday from 6 am to midnight. When the tunnel is closed during normal hours, Routes 212 and 217 will serve Stewart St at 4th Ave and operate south on Second Ave; serving stops at Stewart, Union, Spring and Cherry streets; on Washington at 4th Ave S and on 5th Ave S at S Jackson St. To downtown, they will serve 5th Ave S & S Jackson then north on Fourth Ave to Olive Way.
