- E - Route 71 Express to downtown Seattle: Afternoons via Eastlake Ave E. Mornings via I-5. Makes no stops between 12th Ave NE & NE Campus Parkway and Convention Place Station (Stewart St & 9th Ave when tunnel is closed), except 7th Ave NE & NE 40th St when southbound express lanes are open.
Route 71 Express to Wedgwood: Afternoons via I-5. No stops between Convention Place Station and NE Campus Parkway & Brooklyn Ave NE (EXCEPT at NE 42nd St & 8th Ave NE when express lanes are open). Mornings via I-5. No stops between Convention Place Station and Brooklyn Ave NE & NE Campus Pkwy.
Special Service Information
- Route 70 on weekdays and Saturday, and routes 71, 72 and 73 on weeknights and all day Sunday, provide local service via Eastlake Avenue between downtown Seattle and the University District. Please pick up a University District timetable for complete schedule information.
- Additional express service via Eastlake is provided by Route 66. Please refer to the individual timetable for schedule information.

Downtown Seattle Tunnel Service Information
Routes 71 and 76 operate in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel. The tunnel (see downtown map) is open for service Monday thru Saturday from 5 am to 1 am, and Sunday from 6 am to midnight. Late night Route 71 trips that do not use the tunnel are noted on schedules in this timetable. If the tunnel is closed during normal "tunnel-open" hours, Routes 71 and 76 to the U-District and Wedgwood will operate north on 4th Ave, serving stops at Jackson, James, Marion, University and Pike streets and east on Olive Way at 6th Avenue. To downtown, Routes 71 and 76 will operate west on Stewart St and south on 2nd Ave.
