Broadway Cruising
A luminescent pearl sun tugs at purple bruised clouds stolen
from an oyster. Riding down Broadway, evening smells like stale
crackers sliding across my eyes in a crumbly caress.
Because the world is round I cant throw these facts awaythey
come back like broken records unrecycled, unrepentant, undenied.
